Reigate Grammar School has taught children in Surrey, England since 1675.
In 2024 it came to Kuala Lumpur, and brought its standards with it.

A 350 year legacy of excellence comes to Kuala Lumpur
Reigate Grammar School was founded in 1675 by Alderman Henry Smith, whose vision was to create educational opportunity for young people. Today it is a leading HMC independent co-educational day school, recognised for outstanding academic outcomes and exceptional pastoral care.

Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur is the next chapter in that story, and the connection is a working one. Educational standards are shared. School leaders collaborate directly. Quality assurance is continuous, and it comes from Reigate itself.

What that means for your child is a British independent school education, delivered to the standard of the school it is named after.

Student Wellbeing
At Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that children flourish when they feel safe, valued, and truly understood. That is why we develop a school culture where kindness, empathy, and respect are lived every day in classrooms, corridors, and conversations.
Our students are surrounded by adults who know them well and care about who they are, not just what they achieve. Through a layered network of pastoral care, including academic mentors, tutors, and peer support, we ensure every child feels seen and supported. For those who need additional help, our Individual Education Plans offer targeted guidance with compassion and discretion.
Wellbeing is not an add-on, it is embedded in our daily life. From assemblies that celebrate character and courage, to counselling, mentoring, and life skills sessions, students are equipped with the tools they need to navigate challenges, look after their mental health, and build resilience. We also place a strong focus on digital wellbeing, helping our students to make thoughtful, balanced choices in an ever-connected world.
We know that student wellbeing is strongest when school and home work together. That’s why we actively partner with parents through workshops, regular communication, and shared support strategies building a united community around every child. Together, we help our students feel confident, cared for, and ready to thrive.
