International families
Moving a family across borders is a big undertaking. You will not do it alone.
Families join RGSKL from across the region and beyond. We support students and their families through the student visa and guardian visa process, from initial entry through to approval.
Requirements vary by nationality and circumstance, and all immigration approvals are made by the Malaysian Immigration Department rather than by the school.
Our admissions team will talk you through what applies to your family, what documents you will need, and what to expect at each stage.
The best first step is a conversation. Tell us where you are moving from and when, and we will set out the pathway for your situation.
SUPPORT WHEN IT IS NEEDED
English language and additional learning support
Students are supported according to their English proficiency, year group and individual learning needs. Most support begins within mainstream lessons, with targeted or specialist input added where appropriate and progress reviewed regularly.

Where further assessment or specialist input is helpful, RGSKL can work with external professionals. Our partner services include counselling and psychology through Share Resolve, and occupational therapy and speech and language therapy through Oasis Place.
