We are delighted to share that on Monday, Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur proudly received its Franchise Certificate from the Government Secretary, Dr Sarifah Nor, Deputy Director of Private Education. Accepted by Sean Davey, Global Business Director of Reigate Grammar School International, this achievement makes RGSKL the first British international school in Malaysia to receive this recognition.

This milestone confirms our status under Malaysia’s national education framework and represents an exciting step forward for Reigate Grammar School as we bring our 350-year heritage of academic excellence and holistic education to Malaysia. It opens the door to incredible potential for shaping world-class learning experiences and setting new benchmarks for British education in the region.

Our Primary pupils took to the stage for RGSKL’s first-ever school production, Henry the Monster, bringing laughter, imagination, and heart to a full audience of proud parents.

From expressive storytelling to confident performances, our young actors shone brightly, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and growing love for the arts.

A wonderful milestone for our community, and the beginning of many more performances to come.

Today, we celebrate the inauguration of our new Reigate campus in Kuala Lumpur. A home created to inspire curiosity, spark creativity, and strengthen resilience. Every space has been shaped with purpose, reflecting our commitment to an education grounded in heart, ambition, and integrity.

This milestone belongs to our whole community. To our teachers, families, students, partners, Beaconhouse Malaysia, and Beaconhouse Pakistan. We thank every one of you for helping us build a school that strives to Go Beyond.

We also welcomed a number of distinguished guests whose presence brought warmth and encouragement to this moment. The Ministry of Education Malaysia led the occasion, followed by representatives from the British High Commission, the Pakistan High Commission, and the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce. A special thank-you goes to Beaconhouse Pakistan, Shaun Fenton OBE from Reigate Grammar School, and Dr. Sarifah Norazah, Deputy Director of Private Education, for lending their support and energy to this celebration.

As we open our doors, we begin a new chapter where young people lead with integrity, think creatively, question with curiosity, and persevere with resilience.
