Sports for Everyone
At RGSKL, sport is for every child. Our sports programme provides a comprehensive physical education within the Early Years and Primary curriculum, helping students to grow in confidence, coordination, and teamwork while developing a lifelong enjoyment of being active.
PE & Games
The performing arts empower children to discover and express their inner confidence. Specialist teaching in music, dance, and drama begins in the Early Years, inspiring a lifelong passion for creativity and performance. High-quality productions from class assemblies and nativities to larger concerts and musicals ensure every child has the chance to participate, confidence and a love for the arts through memorable experiences.
Lessons encourage children to think tactically, problem solve, and communicate effectively, while also learning what makes an effective team. The emphasis is always on participation, enjoyment, and progression.
Swimming
Swimming is a key part of our Primary programme. Students learn to swim competently, confidently, and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres using a range of strokes. They also practise safe self-rescue techniques and enjoy opportunities to take part in fun events such as galas and water games.

Football
Trips and visits are a vital part of the RGSKL experience, giving students real-world learning opportunities that build curiosity, resilience, and teamwork. These trips evolve as children progress through the school from short introductory experiences in the younger years to more adventurous residential programmes and overseas opportunities in the upper years.
Our Learning Spaces
Bright, well-equipped classrooms and age-appropriate learning zones support exploration, movement, and collaboration. From our dedicated Early Years inside areas to creative play corners and outdoor learning areas, every space is thoughtfully designed to meet children’s developmental needs and spark imaginative thinking.

Netball
Netball is taught in Primary to both boys and girls, with an emphasis on inclusion, skills development, and teamwork. Students build confidence and understanding of the game, progressing from simple movement and ball handling skills to applying strategies in friendly games as they get older.
