Inspiring and Creative
At RGSKL, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum of England in Nursery and Reception, and from Year 1 we build on this foundation with our enhanced English National Curriculum programme.
Learning at RGSKL is designed to be inspiring, creative, and engaging. Through observation, assessment, and meaningful “teachable moments,” our students are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and immerse themselves in activities they love. This approach not only motivates children to learn but also nurtures curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong passion for discovery.

Small Numbers, Big Ideas
At RGSKL, our small class sizes mean every child is known, supported, and challenged. This close attention allows teachers to tailor learning to individual needs, while creating an environment where students feel confident to contribute and explore.
Through a fun and inspiring curriculum enriched with diverse opportunities from classroom projects to co-curricular activities children are encouraged to think boldly, share ideas, and develop the skills they need to thrive.
Foreign Languages
At RGSKL, we believe that learning a foreign language opens doors to cultural understanding and global opportunities.
Mandarin
Mandarin is introduced from the very beginning of a child’s journey at RGSKL. Lessons are interactive, age-appropriate, and designed to spark curiosity through songs, stories, and topic-based activities.
In the Early Years, children in Nursery and Reception enjoy one hour of Mandarin each week, giving them an early and meaningful immersion in the language.
As students move through the school, they develop both spoken and written fluency, gaining the skills to communicate confidently and to appreciate one of the world’s most widely spoken languages.
