At Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur, our Secondary School is where students begin to truly shape their futures with confidence, purpose, and a love of learning that stays with them for life.
In an environment that balances academic stimulation with wellbeing and personal development, our students are challenged to think critically, explore ideas deeply, and grow into articulate, ethical individuals. Our subject specialists guide and lead students through a rich and rigorous curriculum that prepares them for IGCSE and, from this year, our exciting new A Level programme.
Through memorable learning experiences, adaptive learning, and co-curricular opportunities that develop leadership and independence, students are equipped with the knowledge, resilience, and ambition to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Leadership Roles
Leadership at RGSKL is not reserved for a few, it’s developed in each student.
Our Secondary School offers a wide range of meaningful leadership opportunities designed to develop initiative, responsibility, and collaboration.
Students are encouraged to take on roles such as Student Representatives that form the Student Senate and other roles such as Head Student, Prefects, House Captains, and Subject Ambassadors. Each leadership role has a chance to influence, inspire, and lead with integrity.
We believe leadership should be lived and learned. Roles are rotated to ensure that all students have a chance to grow in confidence and take on new challenges. Students also contribute as Wellbeing Ambassadors, working closely with staff to support the emotional health of their peers and develop a culture of kindness across the school.

Learning for Life
At RGSKL, education is about more than exam results; it's about shaping young people who are prepared for life.
Our Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) programme lies at the heart of this philosophy. Through weekly lessons and reflective assemblies, students explore the issues that matter: friendships, mental health, relationships, decision-making, digital citizenship, and the ethical dilemmas they’ll face in an ever-changing world.
This learning builds resilience, self-awareness, and respect helping students to develop the confidence and clarity to navigate life’s complexities with empathy and purpose.
Building a Community

At RGSKL, we believe that strong communities shape confident individuals. From the moment our students enter the Secondary School, they are welcomed into a warm, inclusive environment where every voice matters, and every achievement is celebrated.
Each student is placed in a tutor group led by a dedicated Form Tutor, their champion and first point of contact throughout the year. Tutors take the time to know each student deeply, supporting their academic progress and emotional wellbeing. Whether it is navigating new subjects or exploring future aspirations, students are guided every step of the way.
Our House system is the heartbeat of school life. Every student joins one of our vibrant Houses, creating bonds that span year groups and build a true sense of belonging. House competitions, charity events, and creative challenges unite students in friendly rivalry and shared pride. It is here that lifelong friendships are formed and memories made.
