Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur offers the British Ambassador’s Scholarship, a 100% tuition fee award for outstanding Malaysian students entering Sixth Form.

What This Scholarship Offers
This scholarship provides access to a focused and academically rigorous British Sixth Form education, designed to prepare students for leading universities in the UK and internationally.

Who Should Apply
Applicants are expected to:

-
be Malaysian citizens currently in Year 11 or equivalent
-
achieve at least 8 A*/A or equivalent (grade 7–9)
-
demonstrate strong performance in subjects intended for A Level
-
show meaningful leadership within school or community
-
demonstrate service, volunteering, or contribution beyond the classroom
-
be confident in English, both written and spoken
This scholarship is intended for students whose circumstances would otherwise make full school fees a barrier.

Complete the British Ambassador’s Scholarship application form

Submit a video (maximum 3 minutes) or written statement

Provide your latest academic report

Provide Headteacher or Principal contact details for academic reference
In addition, all applicants are required to complete the RGSKL admissions application.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to:

complete a CAT4 assessment
-
attend a formal interview with members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject staff
Academic references will be requested directly from the applicant’s current school.
Final decisions are based on academic performance, leadership potential, and overall suitability.
