More than knowledge
The British curriculum gives children more than knowledge. It develops the ability to think, question, create and apply what they learn.
Through specialist teaching, enrichment and our co-curricular programme, pupils develop the knowledge, skills and character needed for future success. Teaching responds to individual strengths and needs, while purposeful use of technology builds digital confidence, creativity and safe, responsible habits.

Pupils are encouraged to ask thoughtful questions, test ideas, solve problems and take increasing ownership of their learning, building the judgement they will need as new digital and AI-enabled tools become part of their world.
CURRICULUM
What they learn
Pupils are taught by their class teacher for core subjects, and by specialist teachers for languages, the arts, computing, PE and swimming. From Year 1, that means a child is taught by people who have chosen those subjects as their life's work.

Bahasa Melayu and French run as alternatives, so pupils take one or the other. Islamic Studies is offered as an option against PSHE.
What comes next
Tuah, Jebat, Kasturi and Lekir
Learning continues after lessons through more than 100 co-curricular activities each term, led by our teachers and specialist providers. Pupils can try robotics, drone flying, fencing, rock climbing, clay art, LEGO challenges, creative writing, chess and Explorer Scouts, among many others.

From Primary onwards, every pupil belongs to one of four Houses. Named for Malaysian warriors and carried in the British house tradition, they are where the school's two halves meet. Through competitions, performances, cultural celebrations and charity initiatives, pupils build friendships across year groups and take pride in contributing to something larger than themselves.
Care and support
Exceptional care underpins every part of school life. Pupils thrive when they feel safe, known and supported, and our pastoral approach brings together strong relationships, clear safeguarding procedures and attentive guidance for every child.
Teachers take time to understand each pupil's personality, strengths, needs and motivations. That knowledge allows us to provide the right balance of emotional support and academic challenge.

Every pupil is known as an individual. Teaching is adapted to different strengths and needs, with targeted English language or learning support introduced where appropriate. Progress is reviewed regularly, and we work closely with families and specialist professionals where additional assessment or intervention would help.
Where additional specialist input may benefit a child, we work with Oasis Place to provide access to services including occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. Any additional provision is discussed individually with families.
What comes next
By the end of Year 6, pupils have the academic foundation, the study habits and the confidence to take on the demands of Secondary School. The move into Year 7 brings specialist teaching across every subject, a wider co-curricular programme, and the first real steps towards independence.
